don't let the bed bugs bite

you know how the phrase goes "Good night, Don't let the bed bugs bite"... yeah.. unfortunately, not letting the bed bugs bite during sleep is not as easy as the phrase says.. lol~!!

i always get bitten by bed bugs.. i don't know why.. i never seen it bit bB or my roommate.. :(

it wouldn't have gotten this red if i tak jirus dengan air panas.. but it was so itchy that i couldn't stand it.. and you're not supposed to scratch it.. so the only way for not scratching is to pour with hot water, which i think is better than scratching.. at least the itch went away... :) now all I need is a week for the scars to go away... huhuhu..

selalu kaki yang jadi mangsa gigitan bed bugs.. (better leg than any other parts.. thank God!)

slipped for nothing

it snowed so heavily yesterday!

i didn't go for the lecture in the morning.. well, it's nice to sleep during winter.. its cold outside and the bed is so warm and comfy..but- i had to get back to reality..

i went for Russian class which is after the lecture.. and decided to walk to uni.. [smart move.. very smart move]. although i had my boots on, it won't guarantee you of not falling.. i didn't fell.. thank God! but i slipped twice.. and every time i slipped, my heart felt like it skips a beat.. *sigh* and i had to go through this for ~5 months every single year!!

When i arrived at uni, i saw Shalu walking back, i thought she decided to bunk Russian.. we ran into each other and she said "Russian class cancel, the teacher's sick".. WHAT?!! AFTER ALL THAT? TRYING TO PENETRATE(as Svetlana puts it) THE SNOW - CLASS CANCEL plak.. *sigh*.. slipping on the ice for nothing.. bwat penat jek.. baik sambung tdo jek tadi.. sabo je la..

after that i had radiology class in Pervomaiskaya (Первомайская).. which took 1 1/2 hours to arrive by metro.. like Thamil said "its like going to Ipoh and come back"(from KL anyway).. jauh giler hospital tu!! damn exhausted.. dah la tak dpt seat mase dlm metro.. standing for 1 1/2 hours.. :(

we stopped at Ashan City for awhile.. makan.. lapar giler!! and did some groceries shopping..

kat sane jumpe mate, mayein and zizi.. they were bringing a newcomer with her family to makan too i supposed.. kinda reminded me when my mom was here sending me.. hehehe.. ;)

after we were done.. balik~!! the snow had stopped when we were heading back..
this is just the fake snow, today the snow were all gone.. don't worry, the real snow will come in 2 weeks time.. :P

Health Tip: Microwave Your Toothbrush

If you're like most people, you get a new toothbrush every six months, but you really should be changing your toothbrush more often, like every three to four months. When the bristles get worn and lose their rigidity, they don't remove plaque as well. But you should also do some maintenance within that three months, when your toothbrush is just sitting out in the open. After all, think about all the germs and bacteria floating around that would love to attach themselves to your moist toothbrush.
So to prevent colds, flu, and other sicknesses, Reader's Digest recommends that once or twice a week you run your toothbrush through the microwave on high for 10 seconds immediately before brushing. If someone in your home is sick, you may want to sterilize it in the microwave each time you brush. If you're the one who's sick, after the illness passes, ditch your old toothbrush and replace it with a new one.
