Dreamflash 2012

On Sunday was Dreamflash. It's an annual bubble festival right in the centre of Moscow to celebrate to coming of Spring! All you have to do is wear a costume (or not) but you have to bring a bubble kit! I went as an angel this year.

I didn't go to last year's Dreamflash because it was gloomy and rainy. Although, those who went said it was still fun. I went to 2010's Dreamflash. You can read about it or look at the pictures HERE!

So anyway, we head to the centre at about 2PM. Reached Old Arbat Street at 3PM and we were immediately pulled into the crowd. I swear, this year's crowd was a lot more than when I went 2 years ago. We couldn't really move. It was so crowded! I didn't remember getting stuck in the middle of the street 2 years ago.

But we still had a lot of fun!

 Hugs!!!

Overdosed

I'm currently in Therapy/Medical cycle right now...

So we're with Dr. T again!! We had Dr. T. in 5th year 1st semester.. We already aimed him since last semester to get him this semester because we'll be spending 5 weeks in Medical this semester and WHAT LUCK! We got him! (I said too many "semesters" in this sentence)

2 and 1/2 weeks just passed by so fast. He's so adorable and such a sweetheart. Not to mention charming and kind and of course very smart! Plus, he's only 29 years old! Sighhhh...

Imagine my class has 6 girls and 1 guy. Every single day we'll be like "AWWWWW..." every time he does something sweet.

He was telling us about a rabbit that came by his house and eating all the plants in his garden (Honestly, I don't know how he actually grew a garden in winter. Maybe they were plants in pots?) So he caught the rabbit the other day, and he told us that rabbit is a male. And he gave us the honor to name the rabbit!! The whole class went "Awwwwwwwww~"...

I think I'm having too much of his sweetness. I haven't miss class yet, while the others have, and I think I'm overdosing on his sweetness. Now I'm considering to miss at least 1 day of class just to shake off those sweet stuffs, but at the same time, I'll feel a bit of regret missing class for no reason. I rarely ever miss class.

Today, finally we sat in a room. Since his office is under renovation, we've been having classes at the hospital's corridor. Sitting on the sofa at the patient's "living room", I supposed.  We borrowed Dr. Shaidyuk's room since she'll be away until 31st March. There was a coffee machine in the room. Then he asked out of a sudden, "Do you guys want coffee?". Of course we said, "No, thanks. It's ok". Then he said, "No, I want coffee and I don't want to drink alone". So he went off washing the cups and prepared coffee for us. He was the barista for the day. All of us looked at each other so awkwardly! LOL!

So we sat, drinking coffee and talking about coffee. Yeah, it was so weird. but he's so sweet! >_<

I'm telling you, I'm overdosing.

So sad, that only 2 and 1/2 weeks left...

Lovely Weather

It's Spring! Oh finally! after the longest winter ever! The snow finally melted at the end of April, and leaves started blooming early May. =)

Thank God it hasn't been raining like last year. Last year, it was raining the whole spring. Not the typical russian rain, where it rains in the morning and sunny in the afternoon, but a full day rain or well, in this case weeks! Even my shoes were soaked! ;( Its been sunny for a couple of weeks now, but started drizzling yesterday. I really hope it won't be like last year.

Here's some photos I took of Spring! ^.^

This was a couple of weeks ago,

Even the leaves weren't blooming yet.

This is now! ^.^

Full blown of greenness!

Spring is the season of Tulips! <3

Flowers on trees

This tree has only white flowers on it! Looks like a Sakura tree doesn't it?! <3

Even the dandelions are filling up the green grass!

Why can't it be like this whole year aroud? sighh..

OH! I even bought myself a new camera. Sony W350D. It's pink and even got some "diamonds" on it! hehehee.. bB's been bugging me to get a new camera since last year because well, my camera was 3.2 megapix, and he never know how to take proper pictures with it. Every picture he took just has to be blurry. So I finally bought this one and I'm in love with it! heheheee.. ;D

Accept what come to you

I need to learn to let go..

I just have to let go..

Things happens, Shit happens, but life moves on..

there's no reason for it to linger..

there's no reason at all...

It's either I let go or I confront it..

I'd feel better if I could do either..

but I couldn't do neither..

Damn it! Where did my courage go?

Dreamflash 2010

I actually wanted to write this post last week, but I was so busy with my Therapy Cycle and the Case Presentation that I didn't have any time to update my blog..
Well, I passed my presentation which makes me very happy! :D

So anyway, last Sunday, 11th April, I went to Dreamflash Festival.. It's in Arbatskaya.. The news didn't spread that much.. Eugene found out by Vkontakte.ru and some of my other friends found out from Moscow Times paper.. but a lot of them still didn't know about this festival, although it's been held annually..

So we left the hostel around 12:30 p.m. board the metro from Kon'kovo, straight to metro Smolenskaya.. There were 4 of us; Me, Juan, Eugene, and Ann. but later was join with Liyana, Sveta, Hsu Yin, Alex and Tanya.. and then later Ann left us and went with another group, so its 8 of us.. ;D bB back out in the last minute because he was tired.. :( but I don't want to miss this opportunity even though I was in the middle of my Therapy Cycle.. *wink*

We arrived around 1:40 p.m. and we waited in front of McD for Eugene's friends to come..

The Festival starts at 2:30 p.m, so when we arrived, there were other people just arrived as well.. it wasn't that crowded...

When the clock strikes 2:30, suddenly crowds of people just came swarming in.. It was sort of a parade, with people in costumes and their bubble kit..and well, there's no way for you to actually go against the flow.. It was loud with everyone blowing their bubbles.. screaming and laughing... The whole Arbat Street is congested with people.. and the cars are having a hard time trying to get through.. LOL! and I actually got separated with the others.. *sigh* such a bad memory..

Nonetheless, after trying calling them several times, I got through and found them.. phew.. and we continue taking pictures, blowing bubbles, giving & getting free hugs and free kisses (of course I didn't hug any russian guys because like takot kot!.. ;P but the boys were pretty excited getting those hugs and kisses from the girls.. ;DD)

Later, we went to Udonyasan for lunch.. yum!

Well, thats basically it.. here's some pics and you can view more on Facebook! enjoy!

take a deep breath and BLOW! ;D
